Our History
The Inn that is Child and Family-Friendly
FarmWood Bed and Breakfast has existed for more than 25 years. In its early days in the early 1980’s,
Norman and Marion Wenger hosted guests in the farmhouse after their seven children left the house.
After Norman’s death and the construction of the new home, daughter Nancy joined Marion in hosting local Girl Scout troops from as far away as Chicago.
Because of the access to a dairy farm and its animals as well as the woods with its wildlife, our Philosophy of Hospitality has always been child and family-friendly, and remains so.
FarmWood Bed and Breakfast is heaven on earth for suburban and city families who need to expose children to life on the farm. We offer affordable rates and package deals can be negotiated.
The Bunk House Accommodates 4 - $15.00/bunk.
The Bunk House attached to a bath house makes for outdoor living. Picnic tables and barbeque pit are available.
